We value collaboration, honesty, and trust. The way we think and work is open and grounded.

The Salt Earth Ethos

The Salt Earth approach is pure, simple, and honest. We value beautiful, functional design and a timeless aesthetic. We appreciate quality craftsmanship and infuse our work with the same values we extend to our everyday lives—mindfulness, honesty, intention, accountability. With a nod to our northern roots, we draw inspiration from the natural world and make conscious efforts to stay grounded in everything that we do. By slowing down and focusing on quality over quantity, we are able to concentrate on what matters most and deliver good, impactful content.

Our Story

We are a close-knit team of likeminded visual and strategic thinkers—duh, we're sisters! Our design sense is so in tune, we often know what the other one is thinking, making working together a breeze. We know each other's strengths, weaknesses, and idiosyncrasies, and can harness them to produce powerful results. We share an insatiable passion for design and almost obsessive attention to detail—qualities we inherit from our father, a skilled and talented carpenter—at the same time that we bring different skillsets.

Being divided across Eastern and Western Canada only makes our bond and working relationship stronger. We have an open and honest relationship, which is something we extend to the way we work with clients and foster partnerships. We encourage open dialogue and facilitate seamless communication, instilling transparency and trust. We also harness the competitive nature of sisterhood, continually challenging each other to be and do better.
